Mr.
Qu Ping was born in 1962 in Chengdu, People´s
Republic of China. He studied culture management in
Beijing and in New York.
After achieving his master degree, he was employed in
New Zealand and Germany. In 1999 he founded the QPC
Arts Cooperation Ltd. in Berlin for International Cultural
Exchange between the People´s Republic of China
and Germany. In 2001 he founded together with Prof.
Vadim Glowna the German-Chinese Film Fest Ltd. (DCFF)
in Berlin. These activities were based on his official
functions as Representative of the Cultural Administration
of the Province Sichuan and of the Cultural Bureau of
the Beijing City.
Since 1999 Qu Ping has been developing the concept of
the CHINA BUSINESS HOUSE which is now, in 2002, in the
realization phase. As the founder he is the Chief Executive
Officer and the President of the SHANGHAI BUSINESS CLUB
e.V.

Vadim Glowna |

Prof.
Vadim Glowna (born in 1941) started his acting
career in 1961 in Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg,
then working in the main German city theatres with several
important theatre directors.
From 1964 on he appeared in more than 130 national and
international movies (in 2000 ”Best Actor of the
Year”), from 1981 onwards he has been directing
films (Cannes award ”La camera d´or”),
has been author and producer and since 2000 Professor
at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Vadim Glowna is
co-founder of the CHINA BUSINESS HOUSE and General Manager
for Media and Press.
